Rough Carpentry is a classified trade.  It encompasses the service of erecting structures designed out of SPF wood and engineered wood products.     VZC keeps its focus on this trade in the commercial construction sector.  Some examples of buildings in commercial that are built out of wood or have some type of wood structure are Restaurants, apartment buildings, churches, different types of public and retail buildings.  Wood construction in commercial usually entails wood stud walls, wood, LVL, or TJI floors, trusses and plywood sheathing.  Very similar to the residential construction sector, but on a larger, heavier duty scale.  

Limited Demolition is another realm VZC does some work in.  This usually entails demolition where needed in projects that are under renovation.  An example is the new facades at a Mcdonalds; where the old double pitched roofs are coming off, replaced by new parapets and bands, resulting in updated designs.  Our focus is not demolition as a business or trade; instead it is assistance to our valued customers in getting a problem free structure up in difficult time constrained environment.
